Live every moment as not to regret what you are about to do.
-Mickey Mouse
I try to apply this to my life as much as I can, but it's hard. I feel like I'm always regretting something: not studying enough for my test because I was doing something fun, not spending more time with my kitties because I went to a party, etc. It's part of learning to let stuff go.
Movie Review
Cinderella
II: Dreams Come True
As
far as Disney sequels go, this one defies all expectations. This is not necessarily a good thing, nor is
it a bad thing, I guess. There is one
cohesive plot, but it is really just a bunch of shorts pulled together to make
one movie. Kind of like the Winnie the Pooh movie, but not done quite as well.
Don’t
get me wrong, it’s still quite cute, and I enjoyed the movie, but I was
expecting something a bit more plot driven.
I think that my favorite story was the one that followed Anastasia. After seeing this, I definitely appreciate
her character more.
There
are also a number of gags that are repeated from the original Cinderella movie,
such as a cat that terrorizes the mice, and Jacque and Gus almost cutting off
Mary’s tail with a pair of scissors (that last one sounded kind of dark…). But I do love the projectile crayons!
Daily Photo
This was the view from our table at Spice Road Table. It looked out on the lake that is surrounded by the World Showcase. That giant white golfball is Spaceship Earth.
So I've started trying to eat better. My grandfather died of Diabetes a little over a month ago, and it's kind of woken me up. It's done that for the whole family. We're all super cautious around sugar now, and we're trying to cut as much garbage out of our diets as possible. I looked up what a runner would eat (I'm training for the Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror 10-Miler in October, and I want my body to start performing better), and I can/will only eat about three-quarters of what is on the list (I don't like almonds, and I can't eat oranges because of the acidity). But, a lot of the stuff sounds really good.

Youtube Video
This one is a bit of shameless self-promotion. I made this video a few years ago. It's an amv of clips from SYFY's miniseries Alice which is kind of like an adult's version of Alice in Wonderland. (I had a huge crush on Hatter :P well, I have a crush on him...) Anyway, if you haven't seen Alice, I highly recommend it!
Have a magical day!
