A Little Bit of Magic

I've been looking out of a window for eighteen years, dreaming about what I might feel like when those lights rise in the sky. What if it's not everything I dreamed it would be?

It will be.

And what if it is? What do I do then?

Well, that's the good part I guess. You get to go find a new dream.

So I made my first "roast." well, it was shoulder steak that I made in a slow cooker.  It was quite yummy, but it could have used a bit more flavor. *shrug* I'm also working my way through a cherry angel food cake.  It's one of my favorite things that my Mimi makes for most major holidays.  And, this one is just for me and only me :D

It's really simple to make. All you do is use an Angel Food Cake mix/recipe, and then replace the water with canned maraschino cherries and the juice they come in. You literally pour the whole jar in the batter.

I have come to the realization that there is too much negativity in this world.  And, I have decided to do something about it.  My mode of delivery? DISNEY!!! There is nothing like a Disney fairy story to make everything better.

One of my recommendations for bringing a little bit of pixie dust into your life? Listen to the Passporter Moms podcast.  They take you to Disney every week, and they share tips on how to travel through Disney and get the most out of your trip.

I watched a pretty good documentary yesterday called Waking Sleeping Beauty, and it's all about the second Disney renaissance.  I highly recommend it, it's a lot of fun.

I guess that the main purpose behind this post is to explain how the format of my posts are going to change a bit from here on out. There will be several segments, which will be as follows:

Daily Quote: a different Disney quote everyday. Some will be inspirational, some will just be fun.

Movie/Game Recommendation: Some of these will be Disney, but there will be others as well.

Daily Photo: This will be of something that interests me, or stuff that goes on around campus

Discussion: Something that I particularly want to talk about.

Daily Youtube Video: Cool videos that I find online and want to share :)

Daily Question: I will answer a question (either posed to me by someone, or just one that I find online).

Anyway, from this day forth, I plan to find magic in this world.  Every day.  Everyone needs a little magic in their lives.
